Caring in Crisis was a research study about nursing work. The purpose of the study was to understand the unique challenges and rewards of being a nurse during the COVID-19 pandemic. We recruited nurses who offered to share their experiences through a telephone or virtual interview.

Participation was open to anyone with a registered nursing license who has worked in the US at any time during the pandemic. The study was open to RNs in any nursing role, including advanced practice nurses and those in management positions.

In the future, we look forward to sharing publications associated with this work.
